I rode a lot in September—243 km in total! Despite the lingering summer heat, I kept pedaling and feel proud of the effort.

I was planning to keep up the pace in October, but my Louis Garneau MTB suffered a flat front tire. More precisely, it seems like wear and tear. After years of service, it’s earned a break.
This time, I’m taking on my first DIY tire and tube replacement. The draft is ready, and I’ll be posting the article titled “[Beginner-Friendly] DIY Tire and Tube Replacement for a 2010 Louis Garneau MTB” soon. I’ll include photos of the removed tire and the repair process.
While my bike is out of commission, I’m staying active by swimming. It’s a refreshing change of pace. I also tried my wife’s electric bike—so easy it made me laugh! But I still miss the feeling of riding under my own power.
Stay tuned for the upcoming DIY post!
