Today, I chose swimming over cycling to maintain my health.
The pool is small—just 30 meters round-trip—but it’s more than enough for a meaningful workout. My goal is 20 laps, and I managed to complete them again today.

Exercise is essential for good health. And best of all, it’s something we can do by our own will.
When I was working full-time, I couldn’t always make my own choices. As a part of an organization, I often had to follow the decisions of others.
Still, one thing I kept up no matter what was exercise for my health.
While watching TV at home may be relaxing, the TV will always be there. But the ability to move your body by your own will? That’s limited. As I grow older, I realize this more and more.
So today, I’m grateful I could swim again.
I want to keep moving forward—on my feet, by my own will, for as long as I can.
