Yesterday, Saturday was my day off.
With rain forecast in the afternoon, I went for my usual morning bike ride for health maintenance.
I covered over 20 km on hilly roads, keeping a comfortable pace. I burned around 1,070 kcal — a satisfying workout.

For lunch, I had instant ramen — but not just any ramen.
It was a special “Ichiran Curly Noodles” I had bought as a souvenir during my trip to Fukuoka this spring.
The red secret seasoning powder added a real gourmet touch. Delicious!
After lunch, I took a short break and checked my blood pressure as usual.
The result was 115 / 79, with a pulse of 58. Very healthy.
I believe this balance is thanks to moderate exercise and light work. As I get older, I feel how important these habits are.

At times like this, I dream of a “simple life in nature” — farming when the sun shines, reading when it rains.
Maybe someday I’ll leave the city and enjoy that lifestyle.
But for now, I’m still happy to be active and working a bit.
A rainy weekend like this gives me time to reflect on life.
That quiet, personal time is something I’ve come to truly value.
