Yesterday, Saturday, was pure May sunshine.
From the moment I woke up, the sky was clear and blue
— it just pulled me outside.
I thought about heading to the pool,
but in the end, hopping on my bike felt right.
Pedaling under that bright sky,
I could feel both my body and mind getting lighter.
Nothing beats riding through nature.
I worked up a good sweat and felt like
I took another little step toward my healthy, happy life.

This morning, my blood pressure was
124/82 mmHg, pulse 54 — not bad at all.
Feeling steady, feeling good.
As I rode along, the spring breeze was perfect.
I didn’t cover a huge distance,
but it didn’t matter.
I made a little stop at a local shrine
— quiet, peaceful, no one around.
Looking up, I noticed the roof
— it had such beautiful curves, full of history.
I stood there for a moment, just taking it all in.

Moments like these
— quiet places, small discoveries —
that’s what makes getting outside so worth it.
Even a short ride leaves you with so many good memories.
Today’s Little Pep Talk to Myself:
“Cherish the little discoveries.
Every day holds a moment that can move your heart.”
