Golden Week Cycling and Health: 50km Over Two Days!

During the latter half of Golden Week, I made the most of the good weather by cycling through the hills around my home. Over two days, May 3rd and 4th, I rode a total of about 50 kilometers.

May 3rd Ride:

May 4th Ride:

  • Distance: 34.6 km
  • Time: 2 hours 38 minutes

  • Calories Burned: 1831 kcal

Despite my age—I’m 70 years old—I find that regular cycling helps keep my body and mind sharp. These rides offer more than just exercise; they clear my head and keep my spirit refreshed.

Morning Routine and Blood Pressure:
Each morning, I check my blood pressure. On May 5th, my reading was 118/74 with a pulse of 56 bpm—pretty good for my age. I believe this is due to consistent physical activity and proper supplements.
